With the help of art teacher, Megan Mattson, Linkhorn 4th and 5th grade students submitted their best ideas for the all-new Kid’s Go Green placemats for Rockafeller’s Restaurant. While all of the submissions were out of this world, the very best made this year’s kid’s menu placemat. For their effort and hard work, each student received a copy of the placemat as well as a Kids Go Green at Rockafeller’s t-shirt. Rockafeller’s was one of the first green restaurants in Virginia Beach and proudly supports energy conservation and renewable resources by their participation in recycling, elimination of Styrofoam, water efficiency and energy conservation – even to go boxes and plastic cups have gone green at Rockafeller’s! Bring in the kids and check out the new green placemat!
