Art, Food and Fun will be in Bloom this June At Rudee Boardwalk!

(Virginia Beach, Virginia) - April 30, 2008 - Summer is so close now you can feel it! The air is warm and scented with notes of suntan oil, seafood feasts and salt air. Rockafeller’s and Rudee’s restaurants stand like Beacons along Rudee Inlet welcoming locals and tourists alike to the majestic Rudee Inlet. Celebrate the inlet this June and enjoy all that summer in summer at Rudee Inlet has to offer including an art fair at Rudee Boardwalk! Relax and take a stroll on the dock between Rockafeller’s Restaurant and Rudee’s Cabana for a true taste of Virginia Beach. Starting June 8th and running every Sunday through June 29th, enjoy Virginia Beach’s local artists, jewelers and even farmers selling their wares along Rudee Boardwalk between 3pm and 6pm. Just look for the bright Rudee Boardwalk flags!

This event is absolutely free and sure to please! Whether you are from out of town or right on the fringe of Rudee Inlet come on down! Walk, boat, bike or drive to Rudee Inlet to enjoy the seaside atmosphere and local vibe along the inlet. Stroll down the docks, watch the fisherman bringing in their catch or enjoy the scenery from Rudee’s outside cabana or Rockafeller’s 2nd story open decks! On Sunday, June 8, Rockafeller’s will host a benefit art show up in their banquet room with proceeds to benefit Children’s Performance Workshop – a non-profit organization helping to teach children about child abuse and reminding them to ‘just tell.’
